Lutsk Cooperative Professional College of Lviv University of Trade and Economics has a long-standing history connected with the development of education and the cooperative movement in Volyn. It was founded in 1940 as the Lutsk Cooperative School with the aim of preparing qualified specialists for the fields of trade, food industry, and entrepreneurial activities.
A new chapter began when the institution received college status and became part of the Lviv University of Trade and Economics (LUTE) structure. This provided students with the opportunity to study through continuous programs, from a junior bachelor’s degree to a master’s degree at one of the country’s leading specialized universities.
Today, Lutsk Cooperative Professional College of Lviv University of Trade and Economics combines the traditions of quality education with the modern demands of the labor market, preparing young professionals capable of working effectively in business, trade, and food technology. The college actively promotes the development of professional skills, civic awareness, and responsibility among students, continuing the proud traditions of cooperative education in Volyn.

The College’s goal is to ensure the competitiveness of educational services in the training of professional junior bachelors. Achieving this goal requires a systematic approach to coordinating the activities of departments, staff, resources, learning technologies, and information at all stages – from assessing consumer requirements regarding the quality of educational services to the graduation of specialists, their employment, and postgraduate training.

Cook. Confectioner
The profession of a cook is demanding but at the same time fascinating, bringing great moral satisfaction. The confectioner’s profession is creative, allowing a young, talented worker to bring more new ideas and innovations than an experienced employee, resulting in significant profits for the establishment. This work requires transforming acquired skills and knowledge into new concepts and perspectives. The confectioner’s profession demands extensive knowledge and skills and is especially suitable for artistically gifted individuals who strive to realize creative ideas while drawing on historical experience and elevating Ukrainian culinary culture to a high international level.

No one can say exactly where the seller profession originated. It is known, however, that it appeared before the advent of money. In those ancient times, people exchanged goods, and over time markets began to form, along with commodity-money relations. A seller is a mediator between the producer and the buyer. Their task is to sell the necessary goods to the customer.
